Pros and cons of The Martian: Official Game app for iPhone and iPad

The Martian: Official Game app good for

Yeah Im liking this game..I did not care for life line 2. I found it a bit boring but this one seems to keep ones interest..havent finished it yet but so far so good
its really fun but Its stopped showing me messages from NASA? I dont know where to lodge this complaint but I cant open the messages and none appear.
Absolutely amazing. A must have for all The Martian fans. Its fun and quirky and very immersive and Ive been nerding out about it ever since I got it. Definitely will be playing it obsessively.
Ive always enjoyed these story based games, and I also enjoyed the Marian book so I was pleasantly surprised to find this game on the App Store. Ive played around ten hours worth the game and its solid. Had to laugh though, when showing what was supposed to be a picture of the HAB they instead showed a picture of the Ares Space Station used to travel to and from Mars.
I love this game! Its great! Although... I seem to be having serious issues with the watch app. I get the glance feature, but the app wont actually start on the app. It just loads and loads and loads and loads until I just give up. Some assistance would be appreciated. Thanks. :)
This game is very worth it for it"s price. I hope thy add to it with new characters, missions and stories.

Some bad moments

Cant reverse one of the last, most important decisions. Therefore would have to start over to finish game. Unacceptable for a paid app.
...a waste of my time and money. Shame because the concept itself has potential. No fun factor, no intellectual challenge, only 2 possible answers (most of the times leading to the same result), very slow paced (to the point of boredom)... big disappointment!
I told Mark to keep the cowling on the drill on to avoid any accident. After reestablishing communications with him, he justified the loss of comms by an accident caused by "my decision" to leave the cowling off. Major vibe kill...
Many important decisions are being ignored, things I explicitly decided against are happening. Mark didnt have to die.
Seems like I spend half the time trying to playing this game and the other half waiting for mark havent played for over a day. Start up the game. And mark is away. Finally get a response. And mark is going to sleep. What a Waste
I have played twice he died early the fist time before I had a better understanding of how to use the info I was given. The second play through I got all the way to stripping down the ship for weight and told him to drop items that were redundant and bam he dies again without explanation. I love the way its structured and the random texts from Martin and NASA but most often my two choices are really kind of not what I would choose considering the info I have I like the concept will give it one more go I have so much input for developers not sure how to convey.
